Chase McDonald King, age 12
Chase wrote a thoughtful essay and presented his thoughts with charisma and enthusiasm in an impressive video outlining a path to equality through compassionate action to win the title of King of the Bud Billiken® Parade.

Nina Washington Queen, age 12
Nina exhibited talent, intelligence and ingenuity in her written essay and self-produced video presentation making a strong case for the importance of focused education and community service, winning the title of Queen of the Bud Billiken® Parade.

Daunte Henderson Jr Crown Prince, age 12
Daunte wrote an essay that speaks to the necessity of creating an environment of peace and safety in our communities, winning the title of Crown Prince of the Bud Billiken® Parade.

Amariah Word Crown Princess, age 12
Amariah wrote an essay that offered insight into ways to raise the consciousness of youth, helping them to become proactive in the areas of ecology, civic engagement and inclusiveness. She won the title of Crown Princess of the Bud Billiken® Parade.

Shauneece Morsby Princess of the Royal Court, age 10
Shauneece wrote an essay focused on helping those who are less fortunate to rise above their circumstances. She won the title of Princess of the Royal Court of the Bud Billiken® Parade.

Gabriellah Word Princess of the Royal Court, age 8
Gabriellah wrote an essay that expressed her deep concern that racism is one of the most non-productive and destructive forces facing the world today. She delivered her message in a spirit of peace, love and harmony to win the title of Princess of the Royal Court of the Bud Billiken® Parade.
