ULTIMATE THREAT DANCE TEAM

The Ultimate Threat Dance Organization was established in 2010 by Verndell N. Smith II. Verndell was born in Elizabeth New Jersey, but later moved to Chicago IL at the age of 6 years old. He was heavily influenced by the R&B era, admiring dance moves from Usher, Chris Brown, B2K, Michael Jackson and many more artists.

After his love for dancing grew, years later he joined a dance team, took lead and his prominent leadership led him and his team to spearheading music videos, performing on 106 & Park, and placing in one of the largest African American competitions in the world (Bud Billiken Parade).

His expertise in dance later then influenced the start of his own organization, terming the phrase "Stop Killing and Start Dancing" in reference to Chicago's violence over the last few years. He opened his own dance studio, where his team placed first in many dance competitions throughout the Chicago area, highlighted in the Chicago Defender Newspaper, performed at the Apollo Theatre.
