At this year’s the Bud Billiken Parade celebrated 95 years of fun, community, and legacy. Nearly 200 marching bands, drill teams, dance teams, tumblers and gifted parade participants showcase their talent on South King Drive. The Bud Billiken Parade continues to be a source of great inspiration for our community. Finalist competed in four distinct categories Drill, Dance, Band, and Cheer. Area’s finalist were judged includes Music, Marching, Spacing, Synchronization, Choreography, Execution, Technique, Equipment Difficulty, Uniforms, Overall Showmanship, Parade Flow, Adherence, and Behavior.

Dance teams, drill teams, and marching bands travel from all over the country to participate in the historic Bud Billiken® Parade, consequently, travel costs, uniforms, and other necessities can exceed the means of locally-led groups. Please donate to a performance team or band, in return, they’ll be happy to carry your banner in the parade.
